Ravinian Distributors Inc. (RDI) was incorporated on August 22, 2007 with the purpose of submitting its bid for the exclusive distribution rights for Lifan Automobiles in the Philippine Market. Chongqing Lifan in pursuit of an excellent choice for a local distribution partner for the Philippine Territory defined a strict process of selection. Due diligence particularly in its financial capability and technical competence was stressed as a major component. As such, Mr. Nelson C. Ong as the President and Chief Operating Officer, in its bid proposal for distribution rights achieved the highest confidence and strength. Operating plans and viability as a whole was impressive and earned the confidence of the screening body. This paved the way for Mr. Ong and company to register Ravinian Distributor, Inc as an entity for distribution appointment. With minimal capitalization infused for this purpose. As Lifan Cars Phils. continues to grow in terms of size as well as the brand network, the management and officers are now on its track of setting up six (6) provincial dealerships in the areas of Davao, Cagayan De Oro, Ilo-ilo, and Cebu with different bank accreditations. With the assistance and support from the Chongqing Lifan Co. Ltd., the company plans to introduce additional models this second half of 2009. Upcoming models like LF620 will come this July, LF320 on September and the SUV this November 2009. We are also in the process of building its goal to be the first China-made passenger car to be assembled in the Philippines.
